Today, Dr. Redda Abdulsalam, Governor of Al Sharkia received in his office the executive and security leaders, Islamic and Christian clerics, businessmen, the media men who came to congratulate him on the National Day of the governorate.

Al Sharkia celebrates National Day anniversary, corresponding to the anniversary of ninth the September as Orabi rebellion anniversary.

The governor and his guests watched the celebrations, begining with the military march at ten in the morning

There was motorcyclists from traffic police parade and displaying the flag of Egypt with length of 50 meters and military music as well as the holders of the flags from Youth and Sports Directorate that offered hockey, Karate, gymnastics and athletics groups of young people.

Zagazig University also participated by students from the faculties of Physical Education, for boys and girls. Then, artistic dance performed by folk art team from Zagazig Culture Palace and Arab horses presented dance of the beauty and breading of horses.

Then, the centers of the governorate offers cars representing environmental character which is famous of, especially Al qourain City decorated car with palms which is a symbol of what the city is famous for its fruitful palm trees.

As the city of Abu Kabir decorated car with papyrus from the car, that is famous for its village Tookh Alaqramous.

Finally, the activities of the first day to celebrate in front of the Court building was ended by panorama of leader Ahmed Orabi wielding his sword in front of Khedive Tawfiq to meet the nation and military demands was presented by grandchildren of leader Orabi from the village.

The governor said in his speech:" time has come to know where our children in every part of the country, east and west parts of the Orabi revolution and the national hero purpose of building and supporting the Egyptian Nation and achieve independence".
