Dr. Redda Abdulsalam, Governor of Al Sharkia announced the start of trial operation of Al Sahfah Bridge of Mashtool Al souq, pointing out that the bridge is now ready to receive all cars in preparation for the official opening next September within the framework of National Day celebrations.

He also added that the cost of the bridge is about 3.8 million pounds as it links between Al Sharkia, Cairo, AlQalubia.. as it contributes to decode traffic jams inside Mashtool center and connects the two sides of the Mashtool center and Menyia Al qamh center.

The governor had a tour this afternoon to inspect the work and the final finishes of the bridge, pointing out that the final works are ended at the request of people and because of its importance.
