Dr. Redda Abdulsalam, Governor of Al Sharkia called for a mechanism to tighten control over the revenues of the bus stations project, pointing out that most of the projects are in tatters.
This came during a mini Executive Council meeting today in the presence of Major General Sami Sidehom, deputy governor and Maj. Gen. Yacob Imam, the general secretary of the governorate and a number of heads and directors of the concerned departments.
The governor assigned the field follow-up management to follow up all stations all over the governorate to tighten control over the project with revenues and to provide a detailed report to be presented to the governor every week.
The governor announced in the Executive Council the preparation of a proposal to be presented to the Prime Minister during the next Board of Governors meeting, stating punishing farmland owner who is building by depriving him of provided Agricultural Services session (fertilizers- seeds)
The governor said that he will not eliminate the problem of encroachment on agricultural land but to impose strict punitive laws prevents the violation.
