Prof. Dr. Said A. Ossman, the governor of Alsharkia met the delegation of international democratic authority, who visited the governorate to follow the progress of the electoral process for the presidential elections at the level of polls of the governorate, whereas they talked about the most important projects implemented, including rebuilding Al Mohfza bridge , Orabi square and Galaa Street , and the governor promised that these projects will be completed soon. Prof. Dr. Said A. Ossman, the governor of Alsharkia discussed with them all the facilities provided to the citizens within the governorate during the voting days , providing computers to all the polls to serve citizens who inquired about their names and numbers, providing cars to transport people to the polling stations, ensuring all stations are fully secured by the forces of the police and the army to make the citizens feel security during the electoral process, providing wheelchairs for the elderly and providing generators for lighting committees during the course of the electoral process. The delegation asked the governor about the problem of canceling the polls of the travellers and the governor said despite this problem, there were large numbers of travellers were able to cast their ballots , especially after the decision of the High Elections Commission by extending the voting period for a third day and the electoral process at the level of the polls in the governorate has gone with ease due to the formation of the operation room, headed by the governor himself and the presence of Major General / Sami Sidhom- Deputy governor to monitor any potential problem and solve it immediately.
