Prof. Dr. Said A. Ossman, the governor of Alsharkia has met Dr. Azza Ashmawy,the general secretary of the national council for childhood& motherhood  to discuss the activation of the committees for protecting the child in the governorate.Dr. AzzaAshmawy declared that these committees were not activated since the establishment in 2008 although it is important for monitoring and protecting the children for any possible abuse or violence that could happen in the society. She added that the homeless children are being numerated all over the republic to overcome this dangerous phenomenon.

“ All the reports from the hotline(16000) of the children must to be answered by collaboration with the concerned authorities, whereas the child is the victim and his rights must be reserved and the phenomenon of leaving out the school must to be solved as well as the problem of working kids and supplying the poor families via productive projects.” The aims of the council program have been pointes out by cooperation with the social fund, NGOs, and the businessmen.

Gen.SamySidhom- the vice governorreferred that the governorate has great advantage , is considered as modal for supporting the national center and is ready to provide all the needs to complete the mission, indicating that the problem of the children is considered national security  as they are used in crimes where they won’t be punished. Also, he emphasized on the importance role of the media in fighting this phenomena.
