Prof. Dr. Said A. Ossman, the governor of Alsharkia emphasized on the importance of collaboration between the sectors of health and health insurance to develop the medical system in the governorate and to have more beneficiaries of the health insurance, indicating that only 56% of the people in Al Sharkia who make use of this insurance and on the importance of the scientific research and encouraging the doctors to use the most modern methods in treating the patients.
“It is vital to look for another place than Almabra hospital for the insurance as the place is very small to the number of the users on daily basis. All the support to the crucial health sector will be delivered in order to distinguishably serve the people of chronic diseases such as kidney failure and liver all over the governorate.” The governor elaborated
Dr. Ali Hegajy, the chairman of the general authority of health insurance agreed to provide CT scan to Almbra hospital and to prepare a center for catheter operations under the auspices of the health insurance, referring that sector does support the operations of Cochlea implanting for children for free, with cases this year. “The budget of the authority is estimated by 4.7 Billion EGP but there is shortage of 2 billion annually therefore all the authorities of the state, the university, and the authority must cooperate to continue delivering the medicine to the patients and achieving the main goal of the health sectors.” Dr. Ali Hegajy pointed out.
