Prof. Said A. Ossman, governor of  Al sharkia, had meeting with the committee from the world bank, the international water facility, the holding company for portable water & sanitation, the national authority for portable water & sanitation, and the irrigation& water sources ministry for studying the means of cooperation to make the best use of  the grant given by the international water facility& the world bank through planned projects for the sanitation and  subsurface drainage and to have the ideal researches to utilize the solid wastes. It is worthy known that the grant is estimated by 75 million $ to carry out the sanitation projects in the villages of the governorate, including treatment stations, lifting networks and plants to cover almost all the villages of Alsharkia.

The world bank also supports various projects of the irrigation& water sources ministry to develop the water sources in order to raise the quality level of the irrigation water services,  to increase the benefits from the available sources, to remove the solid wastes from the drainages and recycle them for reducing the pollution of the water sources.

The representative of the world bank declared that the grant  will be delivered on two stages, the first is estimated by 60 million $ and the second one will be estimated by 15 million$, whereas the first stage will begin in Aloqda and Altelien villages in Menia Alqamh main town.
