During the first meeting of the Council of Zagazig University, attended by Dr. Redda Abdulsalam- Governor of Al Sharkia as member of the Council....
· Dr. Redda Abdulsalam- Governor of Al Sharkia- called for activating the protocols signed between the university and the governorate in each field, referring that the university has respectable scientists.
· The formation of an advisory board that includes Zagazig University professors and executives from the governorate to participate in the development and service projects to benefit the country and citizens.
· Governor called for the completion of the strategic plan developed by the former governor in cooperation with the university.
· Governor confirmed that Zagazig University is expertise house and is considered scientific and cultural beacon, contributing to solve the problems and offer solutions and creative suggestions ... They also contribute to the development of administrative work, by having material and human resources and modern methods of work.
· Governor demanded the university president to contribute in solving traffic problems, creating new traffic hubs and re-civilize the governorate, through the use of professors of Engineering and Agriculture.
· Governor asked the university to present creative ideas contributes to develop society and enrich the cultural aspects and said that proper preparing for any field starts from the base to the top.
· For his part, Dr. Ashraf Shehhi - Head of Zagazig University is ready to cooperate with the governorate and seeks to activate the signed protocols and take advantage of all the scientific expertise to solve the problems of Al Sharkia.
