Dr. Redda Abdulsalam- Governor of Al Sharkia and Dr. Ahmed Mujahid, head of the Egyptian Book Organization opened the Cairo International Book Fair in Al Sharkia that is organized by the Department of Tourism by cooperation with the Egyptian General Authority of the book, in the period from 23/02/2015 until 06/03/2015 in the Palace of Culture in Zagazig, where he wandered at the exhibition, and was pleased of what he has seen of valuable books and invites everyone to visit the exhibition, pointing out that the fair is open to the public on two shifts.

Governor stressed that the ultimate goal of the organization of book fairs to promote reading culture and to teach young people the scientific, cultural and literary heritage books for great writers and intellectuals. Governor noted the sale of the book with discounts up to 50% and the fair has seen a cultural and artistic evenings.
