 Dr. Redda Abdulsalam - Governor of Al Sharkia: everyone is required coming together to eliminate the scourge of illiteracy.

Dr. Mohab Kamel Al- Rafii, Chairman of the General Authority for Literacy and Adult Education announced that Al Sharkia is the first in eradicating illiteracy nationally, pointing out that what has been done in the area within six months is equivalent of 7 years, 71. 000 have been during the first half of the school year of total 125 thousand targeted during the year ... This came during his participation of the Executive Board for Literacy and Adult Education headed by Dr. Redda Abdulsalam- Governor of Al Sharkia. The chairman showed the political leadership interest in illiteracy issue and considers it a national project for new Egypt under the slogan "Together we can" for the eradication of illiteracy as the most important sources of intellectual and religious terrorism, stressing that the Authority is implementing a strategy to eradicate illiteracy through Six years  on bases of :killing the sources of illiteracy through the elimination of the phenomenon of dropping out of education, providing an opportunity for rural children and Upper Egypt, through the construction of new schools and said: I made a suggestion to the President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi President of the Republic and is being currently studied at the Supreme Council of Universities by not to grant university graduates bachelor's degree unless he illiterates 4 persons in four years as we have five million students in the government and private universities able to do so by having the curriculum  for the society and environment service such as military education, dealing with issues and other things  in life like a rejection of violence, acceptance of others, the promotion of tolerance and love, and about 50% of the it for ​​ literacy and thus can eliminate illiteracy within 5 years.

In the same direction, Dr. Redda Abdulsalam - Governor of Al Sharkia said that we are living a difficult stage of the history of the nation and that we need to unite everyone to eradicate literacy which is the one of whom the sources of terrorism grows.

Maj. Gen. Sami Sidehom, Deputy Governor, General Yacob Imam, general secretary and head of the Supervisory Committee of the project, Maj. Gen. Tariq Harouny assistant general secretary- and president of the Branch of literacy, Secretaries of State, the heads of councils in cities and neighborhoods, Al-Azhar and the Church and the University of Zagazig, and Al-Azhar University and heads of service bodies attended this vital meeting.

 At the end of the meeting, Dr. Mohab Rafii and Dr. Reda Abdul Salam distributed the authority armor and honored the deans of colleges participating in the project as well as department managers, NGOs and the distinguished mentors and students who completed the education.
