Dr. Redda Abdulsalam - Governor of Al Sharkia decided to form a committee to numerate the number coal factories  within Al Sharkia to discuss the possibility of providing land for the establishment of a combined area with environmental requirements to start immediately in licensing procedures , legalize the situation and take advantage of the development processes of environmentally friendly furnaces....

This came in a meeting with the owners of the coal factories in the presence of Maj. Gen. Sami Sidehom Deputy Governor, General Yacob Imam of the general secretary, and Major General Tariq Harouny assistant general- secretary...

Governor stressed on the importance of benefiting from the developed models furnaces to reduce pollution and conserve soil and water, pointing out that it a sophisticated means to protect workers from smoke, fumes and diseases. The governor said "I'm not against any activity that creates jobs and generates income for the owners but we need to maintain the infrastructure and public health citizen ..."

During the meeting developed charcoal furnaces models have been shown within the framework of the efforts of the Ministry of Environment.
