Engineer Hazem El-Ashmouni, Governor of Al-Sharkia, emphasized that the Egyptian state attaches great attention to the agricultural sector by implementing numerous projects, in order to expand the cultivation of the strategic crops. He praised the efforts of the farmers in planting the crop wheat and achieving food security in Egypt, as being a basic food commodity for the most people worldwide.

For his side, Engineer Abdel Karim Awadallah, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Supply in Al-Sharkia, explained that 54,869 tons and 292 kilograms of wheat were delivered today to the storage sites within the governorate.

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Supply emphasized the need to be ensure about the availability of the storage equipment and the conditions and specifications of the barns which are used to receive and store the local wheat.
