Eng. Hazem El-Ashmouny, Governor of Sharkia, sent a congratulatory telegram to His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, on the occasion of the 43rd anniversary of the Sinai Liberation Day. The telegram read: “I am pleased and honored to extend to Your Excellency, on my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Sharkia, my heartfelt congratulations, best wishes, and sincere prayers on the occasion of the anniversary of the Sinai Liberation Day, which commemorates the victories of the Egyptian will and its adherence to every inch of its precious land.” On this national occasion, commemorating the victories of our valiant armed forces, who, with their precious blood, wrote heroic epics that have held Egypt high, we pray to God Almighty to grant Your Excellency continued good health and well-being. May God bless your sincere efforts and guide you to what is good, progress, and prosperity. We pledge to God and to you to continue moving forward toward reform and development and building the new Egypt of which we dream. The governor also sent similar congratulatory telegrams to Lieutenant General Abdel Meguid Saqr, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of Defense and Military Production, senior commanders of the army and main branches, and the valiant officers and soldiers of the armed forces, as well as to the great Egyptian people. He prayed to God Almighty to protect Egypt and its people from all harm and evil. On the occasion of the 43rd anniversary of Sinai Liberation Day, the Governor extended his congratulations to the executive leadership, members of the House of Representatives and the Senate, the citizens of the governorate, and the families of the martyrs, expressing his gratitude and appreciation for what they have offered to uphold the word of truth, sacrificing their lives and pure blood in the most wonderful forms of giving for the sake of God and the homeland.
