Engineer Hazem El-Ashmouni, Governor of Al-Sharkia, witnessed the handover of 5,000 food bags provided by the Ministry of Endowments, in implementation of the cooperation protocol signed with the Ministry of Social Solidarity. The food supplies will be distributed to those in need in the governorate during the holy month of Ramadan, in presence of Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Moaty, Deputy Governor; Dr. Mohamed Hamed, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Endowments; Professor Ahmed Hamdy Abdel-Motajally, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Solidarity and Dr. Nasser Abdel-Ala, General Manager of Da'wah at Endowments Directorate.

The governor praised the role of the Ministry of Endowments and the Egyptian government in providing meat and food supplies to the neediest citizens in various villages and districts during the holy month of Ramadan.

From his side, Dr. Mohamed Hamed, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Endowments, indicated that the Ministry of Endowments' "Food Vouchers" project aims to serve the community and provide all forms of support to the neediest groups so they can live a kind life.

Professor Ahmed Hamdi Abdel Motajalli, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Solidarity, explained that the distribution of food bags to families in need in the governorate is carried out based on the database which is available to the directorate, in coordination with its affiliated social administrations.
