Eng. Hazem El-Ashmouni, Governor of Al-Sharkia, honored the players of Sharkia Hockey Team (Men) at Sharkia Sports Club for winning the African Champions Clubs Championship for the 28th time, which was held at the Suez Canal Authority grounds in Ismailia Governorate from January 30 to February 7, 2025, by granting them certificates of appreciation and financial rewards in appreciation of their great victory and their continued dominance of the game in Africa.

This came during the celebration held by the governorate in the meeting hall at the General Diwan in the presence of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Moaty, Deputy Governor, Major General Abdel Ghaffar El-Deeb, Secretary-General of the Governorate, Mr. Mohamed Nehme Kojak, Assistant Secretary-General of the Governorate, Brigadier General A.H.
