Eng. Hazem El-Ashmouny, Sharkia Governor, held a meeting with Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Moaty, Deputy Governor, Eng. Eman Mohamed Refaat, Head of the Executive Authority for Drinking Water and Sanitation Projects, Engineer Ayman Suleiman, Executive Director of the North Sharkia Sector at the National Authority for Drinking Water and Sanitation, and executive leaders to discuss the implementation rates of drinking water and sanitation projects currently being implemented in the centers of Hehia and Faqous and to identify the obstacles to implementation to quickly complete them and put them into service to benefit citizens. During the meeting, Sharkia Governor stressed the need for coordination between the National Authority for Drinking Water and Sanitation, the Drinking Water and Sanitation Company, and the Faqus Center Presidency to quickly complete the technical modifications related to connecting the lines and slope networks to the sewage treatment plant in the village of Mit El-Ezz in Faqous Center, with the organization of a field visit to the lifting station No. (5) in Faqous City and developing the optimal vision for connecting to it to quickly enter the station into service and provide a safe and sound sewage project for citizens. The governor also stressed the need to quickly complete the implementation of the final works at Alaqma sewage lifting station and the high-quality water station in the village of Talijia in Kafr Saqr Center and to complete all procedures related to handing over the two projects to the Drinking Water and Sanitation Company to enter service as soon as possible and achieve benefit for citizens. At the end of the meeting, the governor stressed his keenness to continuously follow up on the implementation rates of service and development projects underway in the various centers and cities of the governorate, especially drinking water and sanitation projects, and to find urgent solutions to any difficulties that may hinder the implementation work, handover of projects, and their entry into actual service according to the specified timetables.
