Eng. Hazem El-Ashmouny, Governor of Al Sharkia, held a meeting to emphasize the need for the decisive implementation of the school discipline regulations in accordance with the decision of the Minister of Education and Technical Education in this regard and to take all measures that would achieve discipline and regularity of the educational process, as well as to activate the role of field follow-up committees to follow up on compliance with ministerial decisions and circulars and the extent of regularity of the educational process. The governor of Al Sharkia explained that he issued strict instructions to the heads of centers, cities and neighborhoods, in cooperation and coordination with the directors of educational departments, to pay attention to cleaning work around schools and not to allow street vendors in front of school walls and to close cafeterias and cafes in order to ensure the interest and safety of students. during the meeting, Eng. Ali Abdel Raouf, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education, reviewed the directorate's preparations with its educational departments to receive the new academic year 2024/2025, which included completing maintenance work in schools, filling the deficit in faculty members, and implementing the prescribed percentage of student density in classes, as well as organizing the process of receiving new students in kindergarten and first grade primary halls, as well as providing good lighting and ventilation in classrooms to reduce infectious diseases, with the publication of preventive measures on the school bulletin board to maintain the general health of students. At the end of the meeting, the governor stressed the need to activate the role of the social and psychological specialist in each school to finally eliminate the problem of absence and dropout from education and ensure that students regularly attend schools and benefit from the classes provided to them.
