Hazem Al-Ashmouny, Governor of Al Sharkia, made an inspection tour of Al-Ibrahimiya Central Hospital, which is built on an area of 2600 m to serve the city's residents, in order to see the level of health and treatment services provided to patients and visitors to the hospital.

The governor began his tour by inspecting the reception and emergency department to provide primary medical services to the injured and transfer them to specialized medical departments within the hospital to receive the necessary treatment. The governor reassured the health condition of one of the patients, wishing him a speedy recovery.

Al Sharkia governor was also keen to inspect the intensive care unit, the central heart and the pharmacy in the reception and emergency department and asked the pharmacists about the availability of medicines and serums, stressing the need to ensure that they are stored in a safe manner, with periodic review of the expiration dates written on them and to periodically inventory the shortages to work on providing them as soon as possible to ensure that they are dispensed to patients and provide them with a decent medical service.

During his tour of the hospital, Al-Ashmouny was keen to inspect the new surgical operations wing, which was built by self-efforts in cooperation with civil society, stressing to the director of the hospital administration to quickly coordinate with officials of civil society organizations to complete the remaining work in the wing and operate it to represent an addition to the hospital that contributes alleviating the pain of patients and visitors.

The governor followed up on the regularity of work in the intensive care unit, the nurseries department and the kidney dialysis unit, stressing to the director of the hospital administration to continue to carry out maintenance work on the devices used regularly to preserve the lives of patients, wishing the patients a speedy recovery.

At the end of the tour, Eng. Hazem Al-Ashmouny stressed that developing the health sector is at the top of the list of work priorities in the current period in order to achieve a healthy and sound society, noting that the governorate exerts best efforts to provide the necessary financial appropriations to supply hospitals and service development outlets with all modern medical devices to provide health and treatment services at the highest level.
