Eng. Hazem El Ashmouni, Governor of Al-Sharkia, concluded his field tour in Zagazig city by inspecting a number of the city's streets to ensure that encroachments are removed from the main streets and squares and that shop owners adhere to the spaces allocated to them and the scheduled closing times to restore discipline to the street and restore the aesthetic and civilized appearance of the city.
The governor began his tour by inspecting A-Tahrir Square area in Zagazig city and noticed the presence of a kiosk and a closed public toilet, so the governor assigned the head of the first district in coordination with the director of the field follow-up department to review the license granted to the owner of the kiosk in addition to reviewing the licenses of all kiosks in the area and taking legal measures against violators, while preparing a detailed report on the technical condition of the unused public toilet in order to study the possibility of maintaining it, raising its efficiency and operating it to serve the people of the city.
During his inspection of a bakery selling baked goods, the governor weighed a loaf of Viennese bread himself and found that there was a shortage in weight in addition to the low level of general cleanliness and the cleanliness of the tools used in preparing baked goods, so the governor issued his directives to the Director of the Supply Directorate to close the bakery and take the necessary legal measures against its owner.
The governor also decided to close a restaurant adjacent to the bakery due to the low level of cleanliness and quality of the displayed products, stressing the need to continue to intensify inspection and control campaigns on food establishments in various centers and cities of the governorate, to ensure the level of food service provided to citizens and take all legal measures against violators to preserve the health and safety of all.
The governor also assigned the head of Zagazig Center to coordinate with the head of the first district and the utilities police to continue and intensify campaigns to remove encroachments and street vendors covering the road and oblige shop owners to use the spaces allocated to them.
