Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Ghorab, Al Sharkia Governor, and Prof. Dr. Khaled Al-Dirandali, chancellor of Zagazig University, participated in the closing activities of the unified training program for qualifying university leaders, which was organized by the Center for Developing the Capabilities of Faculty Members and Leaders at Zagazig University, with the participation of deans, and heads of scientific departments in the university’s colleges. The governor expressed his happiness at his presence among the faculty members at Zagazig University and his participation in the closing activities of the unified training program for qualifying university leaders, which contributes enhancing the capabilities of faculty members and preparing them to hold leadership positions in the future and adopting the latest scientific methods in the art of administration to overcome all the administrative problems they face in the system, achieve the institution’s goals by selecting the most efficient, most important and most active in the work and form collective work groups by assigning them specific work assignments to wait for positive results to be achieved, as well as hold periodic meetings for the two years to advance the work system and benefit from scientific research, which contributes supporting the institution with additional resources outside the budget and developing the work system within the educational facility. The governor pointed out the importance of the role of the college dean for community service and development in conveying the problems that the community suffers from, working to solve them, and creating a state of communication between the college as an academic and research body and community institutions, as well as involving students and faculty members in the various activities provided by the college to serve the community. Ghorab praised the role of Zagazig University and the Faculty and Leadership Capacity Development Center in organizing various training programs to hone the skills and capabilities of faculty members, stressing the need to maximize the benefit from the training programs provided to improve the work environment. The Governor of Sharkia and the Chancellor of Zagazig University were keen to inspect the Innovation and Project Support Center at the Faculty of Disability and Rehabilitation Sciences, which includes laboratories (sensory integration - physical training - skills development - visual disability - learning difficulties - language training - art reform - Montessori) to receive and examine sick cases from children, providing appropriate protocols for their condition and the extent of their response to learn. The governor expressed his happiness with the activities he witnessed within the College of Disability and Rehabilitation Sciences, wishing the chancellor of Zagazig University, the Dean of the College, and the faculty members success and continue performance of their scientific and humanitarian mission toward society.
