Title:Al-Sharkia Governor checks on the final preparations for the opening of the National Network for Emergency& Public Safety control center

Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Ghorab, Al-Sharkia Governor, reassured the final preparations for the opening of the Unified National Network Center for Emergency and Public Safety, which was established at the headquarters of the governorate’s general Diwan in implementation of the directives of President of the Republic, to establish a unified and secure emergency and public safety network to secure vital facilities in the governorates, in the presence of Dr. Ahmed Abdel Moati, Deputy Governor, Major General Al-Saeed Abdel Muti, Advisor to the Governor for Projects, and Mr. Hisham Abdel Maqsoud, Director General of Crises and Disasters at the General Diwan. The governor stressed the importance of establishing a control center for the National Emergency and Public Safety Network at the General Diwan in order to preserve the privacy of data and communications existing between administrative and state agencies using an advanced wireless network to achieve full control of information and permanent cooperation between all concerned parties to provide emergency services, secure important facilities, and manage all risks to ensure immediate dealing with it in order to preserve the capabilities and gains of the state and public money. For his part, Dr. Ahmed Abdel Moati, Deputy Governor, explained that the center consists of a meeting room for decision-makers from the governorate’s leadership, a platform to attend and follow up on operations, a place designated for system operators, a data center, a showroom equipped with screens, an office for the system director, and logistical services. "The control center of the National Network for Emergency and Public Safety was equipped with switches and servers and linking devices between the governorate and the directorates and between the directorates, companies, authorities, centers, cities, traffic, and the security and ambulance directorate working 24 hours a day through three work shifts from training a number of system operators at the training center affiliated with the Ministry of Local Development in Saqqara in order to raise the capabilities of workers to operate the system with quality and efficiency and to contribute supporting the state’s plans in the various fields of insurance and supporting development efforts by preserving public and private property and the lives of citizens" Deputy Governor added.
