Dr. Mamdouh Ghorab, Governor of Al-Sharkia, confirmed that the political leadership pays great attention to the agricultural file, especially the wheat crop, by providing many facilities and privileges to the farmers, whether in the various stages of cultivation, harvesting, or supplying the silos. He pointed out that the governorate is striving to provide good, approved seeds and also expand in establishing the guidance fields, so that Al-Sharkia Governorate continues to produce and supply the wheat as being an important strategic crop.

On her side, Ms. Fayza Abdel Rahman, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Supply in Al-Sharkia, clarified that the total amount of what has been supplied of Wheat today reached 161,396 tons and 268 kilos to the storage sites within the governorate.

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Supply in Al-Sharkia explained that the marketing authorities take the full responsibility for preserving the stored wheat and protecting it from damage by following the proper storage methods.

The governor stressed the need to intensify the follow-up works on the supply process while activating the role of the committees which are charged which are responsible for receiving the wheat crop from the farmers and storing it in a good way, as well as ensure the quality of the supplied wheat and impose the necessary control on its circulation.
