Amer Kamal Abu Halawa, Head of the Drinking Water and Sanitation Company, about the completion of the work to repair the drinking water leak in the 16-inch line leading to the Al-Fashasha riser, the 4-inch line in the village of Al-Qasabi West, and the 6-inch line in Ezbet Al-Rust in San Al-Hajar, and the reconnection of drinking water again at home. For his part, Eng. Amer Kamal Abu Halawa, head of the Drinking Water and Sanitation Company, indicated that immediately after the company’s operations room received a notification stating that there had been a leak in a number of drinking water lines in San al-Hajar, and the poor access of drinking water to homes in the village of Al-Fashashna, Azab Al-Shaarawi, Oulad Ali, Abu Juifel, and Abdel Nabi, as well as the village Al-Qasabi East and Ezbet Al-Rust. An integrated work team was dispatched from the company’s branch in San Al-Hajar, equipped with all the necessary equipment, in order to follow up on the situation and begin excavation and repair work in the shortest possible period of time and to pump the water again naturally so as not to spoil the joy of the citizens during the blessed Eid Al-Fitr holiday. The head of the Drinking Water and Sanitation Company added that the work of repairing the drinking water leak has been completed, and drinking water has been restored naturally to the beneficiary villages and estates, pointing out that immediately If any notification of weakness or water leakage is received through the company’s hotline number 125, action will be taken immediately to remove the causes of any complaints that may affect the level of services provided to citizens.
