Engineer Hazem Al-Ashmouni, Governor of Al-Sharkia, inaugurated the control, command, crisis management and emergency room at General Diwan of Kafr-Saqr City. The facility was established through self-help initiatives and the participation of the civil society, as part of the efforts to strengthen the public safety and security systems, enhance monitoring and oversight mechanisms and ensure a rapid response to the crises and emergencies. The inauguration was attended by Dr. Ahmed Al-Muqaddam, Head of Kafr-Saqr City.

The Governor received a detailed briefing from the head of the district regarding the capabilities of the control and command room. It serves as an integrated, centralized system for crisis and emergency management, utilizing state-of-the-art monitoring and communication tools to facilitate the swift detection of incidents, immediate response to report and support decision-making.
