Eng. Hazem El-Ashmouny, Governor of Al-Sharkia, directed the Directors of the Transport Stations Administration and Field Monitoring Administration to coordinate with heads of cities, districts, and neighborhoods to continuously monitor public and local transport stations, prevent overcrowding, and take legal action against those who fail to comply with the prescribed fares and routes, facilitating transportation for students and citizens.
Key Governor’s Directives:
▪ The Governor ordered heads of cities, districts, and neighborhoods to conduct a comprehensive inventory of all vacant lots within urban areas and have them fenced with bricks or barbed wire at the owners’ expense, preventing them from becoming unauthorized garages or random waste dumps that generate unpleasant odors, while protecting the environment and public cleanliness. Violators will face legal action.
▪ The Governor directed the Undersecretary of the Supply Directorate, in coordination with heads of cities, districts, and neighborhoods, to regularly monitor the prices of commodities and food products and expand the establishment of permanent exhibitions, One-Day Markets, and “Ahlan Madaris” exhibitions across the governorate’s cities and districts.
▪ Governor El-Ashmouny also tasked heads of cities, districts, and neighborhoods, in coordination with the Labor Directorate, with conducting a comprehensive and updated inventory of all workplaces, establishments, and projects employing irregular workers, particularly in the agricultural, construction, and building sectors.
