Engineer Hazem El-Ashmouni, Governor of Al-Sharkia, directed the heads of centers, cities, and districts to take decisive legal action against garbage scavengers, confiscating their vehicles and equipment used in random scavenging and sorting, and removing any areas designated for sorting scrap metal or waste, in order to preserve the city's aesthetic appearance and the environment.
The Governor stressed the need to intensify cleaning and beautification efforts, promptly remove garbage accumulations, and ensure the proper placement of garbage bins in various streets. He also directed the issuance of necessary reports against businesses that fail to comply with sanitation regulations, with continuous monitoring of the sanitation system through the National Network Control Center at the Governorate headquarters around the clock.
The Governor emphasized the necessity of intensifying campaigns to remove illegal encroachments from streets and squares, monitoring electricity consumption on main roads and thoroughfares, and addressing any attempts to illegally connect electricity to wedding halls, taking deterrent legal measures against violators.
The Governor instructed the Director of the Agriculture Directorate to intensify agricultural awareness and extension campaigns through demonstration plots and seminars, providing technical support to farmers, and ensuring the availability of certified seeds.
Governor of Al-Sharkia instructed the heads of centers, cities, districts, and directors of directorates to enhance communication and coordination with members of the House of Representatives and the Senate, and to respond positively to the requests and proposals submitted by them to serve citizens in various districts.
