Engineer Hazem El-Ashmouni, Governor of Al-Sharkia, participated in the meeting of Zagazig University Council, chaired by Professor Khaled El-Darandaly, President of the University and attended by Professor Ehab El-Beblawy, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research; Professor Helal Afifi, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; Professor Hanan El-Nahhas, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Dr. Sayed Salem, Secretary General of the University; Major General Samir Farag and the deans of the faculties. The meeting was held in the University Council meeting hall.

The Governor of Al-Sharkia commended the signing of the cooperation protocol between Zagazig University and the Directorate of Labor, considering it an important step towards preparing and qualifying young professionals with the required skills by the labor market. He emphasized his support for all initiatives that enhance integration between educational and executive institutions and the private sector, which in turn contributes in the creation of sustainable job opportunities, increasing youth competitiveness and reduce the unemployment rates.

The President of Zagazig University expressed his appreciation for the Governor's participation in the University Council meetings, affirming that it reflects the depth of the cooperation and coordination between the university and the governorate in supporting the development plans across the various sectors.
