Engineer Hazem El-Ashmouni, Governor of Al-Sharkia, met with a number of citizens from underprivileged families and people with disabilities from various centers and cities across the governorate to listen to their requests and work towards fulfilling them within the framework of the law and available resources. This meeting took place during the governor's weekly public meeting held in the meeting hall at General Diwan.

The governor emphasized that serving citizens and listening to their needs is a top priority for the executive work and that supporting the most vulnerable groups is a mutual responsibility that cannot be neglected.

The governor directed that the submitted requests should be addressed immediately and the necessary procedures should be taken to alleviate burdens on citizens and improve the level of services which are provided to them.

The governor affirmed his commitment to maintain direct communication with citizens through weekly meetings, on-site visits and various communication channels to identify the problems and work towards their immediate resolution.
