As part of the ongoing field monitoring of the healthcare system and in an effort to improve the level of medical services provided to citizens,

Engineer Hazem El-Ashmouni, Governor of Al-Sharkia, continues his surprise visits to the hospitals to ensure the quality of healthcare and treatment provided to citizens. This morning, the Governor visited Al-Qinayat Central Hospital to assess the quality of healthcare services provided to patients and visitors. He began his visit by inspecting the Emergency Department, which had received 41 patients up to the time of his visit. He ensured the immediate handling of cases and that patients received all the necessary first aid until their swift recovery and safe checkout.

The Governor then inspected the Intensive Care Unit, which has 13 beds, to monitor the level of healthcare provided to critical cases and to ensure the availability and efficient operation of medical equipment. He also visited the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, which has 20 incubators, to check on the level of care provided to newborns. Finally, he visited the Dialysis Unit, which has 48 machines operating on a three-shift system and serves 147 patients. He commended about the efficient operation and the consistent delivery of medical services to patients.

The Governor affirmed that his visits to the hospitals and health units will not stop, because the health of the citizen comes at the top of the executive work priorities and that providing a decent medical service is a basic duty that does not accept negligence or shortcomings.
