Engineer Hazem El-Ashmouni, Governor of Al-Sharkia made a surprise visit to Al-Mabara Health Insurance Clinics in Zagazig city, in order to check on the quality of healthcare services which are provided to patients, ensure the regular attendance of doctors and nursing staff and their adherence to work schedules and to monitor the availability of medications, serums and medical supplies. The governor began his visit by inspecting the outpatient clinics and meeting with several patients to be informed about their needs. He instructed Dr. Reda El-Deeb, General Director of Al-Sharkia branch of Health Insurance Authority, to address these needs immediately and expedite all the necessary procedures, taking into account their medical conditions, while providing them with the necessary medical care and treatment.

In a compassionate gesture, the governor instructed the Director of Health Insurance Authority branch to accompany a woman who was complaining about the slow steps of the procedures for a surgical procedure. He directed that all the necessary procedures should be expedited in order for the woman to have the medical treatment as soon as possible.

The governor concluded his visit by instructing the director of the Health Insurance Authority branch, in coordination with the head of the Second District of Zagazig, to expedite the completion of the renovation and upgrade the work on the building, address any obstacles and explore the possibility of allocating two additional rooms in the archives department on the ground floor to reduce overcrowding and facilitate the service which is delivering to citizens.

The governor was accompanied by Dr. Reda El-Deeb, Director of Health Insurance Authority branch in Al-Sharkia, Mr. Mohamed Abu Hashem, Head of Second District and Mr. Mohamed El-Sayed, Director of Field Monitoring Department at General Diwan.
