Title:Al-Sharkia Governor inspects the ongoing paving and development work inside Faqus

Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Ghorab, Al-Sharkia Governor, confirmed that the governorate pays great attention to improve the infrastructure, especially in the roads and bridges sector, so that the citizen can feel the size of the giant projects that are being implemented in various centers and cities of the governorate, which represent a qualitative transport that contribute achieving the required traffic fluidity within the cities. This came during his inspection visit to Faqus to follow up on the ongoing paving and development work in the city’s streets and to determine the level of services provided to citizens in all service and development sectors. The governor began his tour by following up on the ongoing paving and expansion work on Faqus/Abu Shalabi Road, with a length of 9 km, which was implemented in two phases. by the Directorate of Roads and Transport and by the Sinai Reconstruction Authority, in order to accelerate work on the road, which represents a new traffic axis within the city. The governor listened to a detailed explanation from Mr. Muhammad Al-Abasiri, head of Faqus, about the nature of the ongoing work on the road. It was noted that paving a distance of 2.7 km with an average width of 9.5 meters had been completed and the foundation layers had been laid in front of the residential block at a distance of 300 m from the first phase of the road in preparation for the start of the work, paving and operating the road for the crossing of cars and pedestrians, as well as the completion of laying the foundation layers for the second leg of the road, with a length of 6 km in one direction and an average width of 11 m, at a total cost of 46 million pounds. The governor confirmed to the head of the center, in coordination with the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Roads and Transport, that the company assigned to it will follow up executing the work and obliging them to intensify the work shifts on the road to speed up its completion according to the specified timetable and commitment to applying the standard specifications in the work. Ghorab moved to the village of Sawada in order to determine the level of services provided to the people of the village and to learn about their natural needs, to issue instructions to the head of the center to follow up on cleaning work and remove garbage accumulations on a regular basis to create a healthy and environmental atmosphere for the citizens and to bring in a grader to level and straighten the streets, as well as to carry out periodic maintenance work for lighting poles and provide the best Services for citizens. The governor went to follow up on the ongoing paving and efficiency work on Al-Manisi Street and Al-Jalaa Street in Minyat Al-Mukarram area with interlock tiles, stressing that the governorate is serious about implementing the development and beautification plan in the various centers and cities and neighborhoods to restore the aesthetic and cultural face of the governorate and provide the best services to citizens. In order to achieve discipline within health facilities and ensure that a distinguished health and treatment service is provided to those who visit them, the governor directed the Faqous Medical Center to follow up on the regularity of its work and ensure that the doctors and nursing staff adhere to the morning shifts and official working hours and provide the best health and treatment services to patients and visitors to the center. The governor inspected the dental clinic and pharmacy to ensure the availability of medicines and medical supplies in them, stressing the regularity of sterilization and disinfection of the medical devices used in order to preserve the health and safety of those who visit the center, as well as the good treatment of patients and visitors to receive treatment and provide them with a distinctive health and treatment service. The Governor of Al-Sharqiya concluded his inspection tour by following up on the work progress inside Minyat Al-Mukarram Post Office and learning from the workers about the services provided, as it was noted that the post office provides civil status services, bill payment, and financial services, providing mail, current accounts with a daily return, money transfer, and the disbursement of pensions and packages.
