Hazem El-Ashmouny, Governor of Sharkia, inspected several polling stations and electoral committees in Zagazig to ensure the readiness of all necessary preparations and arrangements less than 24 hours before the start of the second phase of the 2025 House of Representatives elections runoff, scheduled for December 17 and 18. 🔹 Abdel Aziz Ali Primary School Polling Station The governor began his tour by inspecting the polling station at Abdel Aziz Ali Primary School to ensure the availability of all necessary facilities and logistical and organizational arrangements to guarantee a smooth voting process, enabling citizens to cast their votes easily, transparently, and without obstacles. 🔹 Zagazig Joint Agricultural Secondary School Committee The governor also visited Zagazig Joint Agricultural Secondary School committee to ensure its readiness, including the availability of waiting areas and wheelchairs, to facilitate voting for people with disabilities, the elderly, and the sick. 🔹 Omar Shibl Official Language School Committee The governor concluded his tour by inspecting the Omar Shibl Official Language School to ensure the classrooms were adequately lit and ventilated, and that backup power sources were available to ensure a calm and organized voting environment. 🔹 Governor's Directives to Raise Levels of Preparedness The governor directed Mr. Shaaban Abu El-Fotouh, Head of Zagazig Center, Mr. Abdel-Aati Abdel-Fattah, Head of First District, and Mr. Mohamed Abu Hashem, Head of Second District, to continue intensifying efforts to improve the level of public cleanliness around polling stations and the roads leading to them, and to remove any obstructions hindering voters' access to their polling stations. He emphasized the need to improve the efficiency of lighting inside and outside the polling stations and in voter waiting areas to create a safe and comfortable environment for casting their votes. 🔹 Call to Participate in the National Election El-Ashmouny called upon all eligible voters to participate in this important constitutional and national event and to freely and consciously choose their representatives in Parliament. 🔹 Maintaining Impartiality Towards All Candidates Governor of Sharkia affirmed full commitment to the directives and instructions issued by the National Elections Authority, limiting the role of the governorate's executive bodies to the necessary organizational and administrative aspects to facilitate the voting process and provide a suitable environment for conducting the elections with complete integrity and transparency, while maintaining impartiality towards all candidates. 🔹The electoral bloc in Sharqia Governorate The governor indicated that the governorate's executive bodies have completed their preparations for the second round of the 2025 House of Representatives elections to receive the citizens who have the right to vote in the parliamentary elections, numbering (4,380,748) voters, who will cast their votes in front of (867) polling centers that include (925) sub-committees and (8) general committees, for the competition between (38) individual candidates for (19) individual seats in the House of Representatives in 2025.
