Title:Decisive Measures by Sharkia Governor to Regulate Work in Service Facilities

Eng. Hazem El-Ashmouny, Governor of Sharkia, issued instructions to refer (42) employees who failed to report to their workplaces in various service facilities for investigation and to take legal action against them. He emphasized that discipline and commitment are the criteria for evaluating performance levels and improving services provided to citizens. The Governor stressed the need to continue intensifying the work of field monitoring committees and conducting surprise inspections of service facilities across various sectors to regulate work, identify any instances of negligence or dereliction of duty, and hold those responsible accountable with utmost firmness. For his part, Mr. Mohamed El-Sayed, Director of the Field Monitoring Department at the General Office, formed several committees to inspect various service facilities in Zagazig, to monitor employee attendance and ensure adherence to work schedules. The committees' work resulted in the following observations: (29) employees were absent from the Medical Supply Warehouses affiliated with the Directorate of Health Affairs, and (2) employees were also absent from the premises. Their names were recorded as absent and having left work. (4) employees were absent from the Fishermen's Work Area affiliated with the Ministry of Labor, and (4) employees were also absent from the premises. Their names were recorded as having left work and being absent. (3) employees were absent from Umm Al-Abtal School, affiliated with the Western Educational Administration in Zagazig, and their names were recorded as having left work. El-Ashmouny decided to refer the non-compliant employees for investigation into the violations mentioned in the report, in order to take the necessary legal action against them.
