🔹Third Scientific Conference of Science and Technology OUST Eng. Hazem El-Ashmouny, Sharkia Governor, participated in the activities of the Third Scientific Conference organized by OUST University for Science and Technology under the title "Engineering and Informatics in the Service of Empowering African Society and Comprehensive Innovation." The conference was attended by Professor Dr. Abdullah El-Dahshan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of OUST University for Science and Technology; Professor Dr. Ahmed Hamdy, CEO of the African Commission for Scientific Research and Innovation; Prof. Dr. Biban Sami, Chairperson of the African Commission for Scientific Research and Innovation; and a number of professors and experts. 🔹Governor's Speech The Governor of Sharqia delivered a speech in which he expressed his pleasure at participating in the activities of the Third Scientific Conference of OUST University, which he described as a distinguished educational and scientific institution in Sharqia Governorate. He noted that the university contributes to developing strategic plans and provides technical consultations for the implementation of development and service projects that benefit the citizens. 🔹 The conference theme is "Engineering and Information Technology in the Service of Empowering African Society and Inclusive Innovation." The governor explained that the theme underscores the fact that we are on the cusp of a digital and social revolution that will touch every corner of our African continent. This comes in implementation of the directives of the political leadership, headed by His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, that Egypt will remain a vital part of Africa, participating in various cultural and scientific events and strengthening ties with other African nations. The governor of Sharqia added that engineering and information technology are not merely a slogan, but a roadmap towards a future we build with our own hands and ideas, transforming us from consumers of technology to creators of it, and from recipients of information to active participants in its production and distribution. 🔹 In closing, the governor expressed his hope that the scientific conference would produce practical and implementable recommendations that contribute to improving the scientific system and providing innovative solutions in the field of engineering and information technology. 🔹 Scientific sessions and research discussions... The conference activities included scientific sessions that included the transfer of artificial intelligence technology as an engine for comprehensive innovation and technology, and another session entitled the transfer of technology in pharmaceutical industries based on medicinal herbs, and concluded with the discussion of (24) scientific papers in the conference themes presented by the participating researchers to enrich scientific research and benefit from the various ideas presented.
