The visit was attended by Dr. Jalal Abdel Karim, Head of Kafr Saqr City and Center, and Mr. Mohamed El-Sayed, Director of the Field Follow-up Department at the General Diwan. The governor met with citizens to identify any obstacles or problems they may face in submitting reconciliation requests. The governor also learned from the head of Kafr Saqr Center and City about the workflow at the Technology Center. It was noted that the total number of applicants for reconciliation under Law No. 187 of 2023 reached 9,881, with 2,638 Form 7 and 2,116 Form 8 applications issued, in addition to 193 amended Form 8 and 1,875 new applications. He noted that between October 1 and the present, several shop license applications and 41 advertising license applications have been completed. The governor emphasized the need to expedite the implementation of this vital and important file for citizens and to complete all applications submitted by citizens as quickly as possible. At the end of his visit, the governor directed the director of the Technology Center to quickly resolve the issues of citizens, especially the elderly and people with disabilities, and to deal with the public in a distinguished manner. He emphasized that the governorate's executive body spares no effort in achieving the public interest, simplifying the necessary procedures to resolve citizens' issues, and improving the level of services provided to them.
Eng. Hazem El-Ashmouny also monitored the buying and selling activity at the one-day market, which sells goods and food items at reduced prices to citizens. The market is being held in cooperation between the district's presidency and the Kafr Saqr Supply Department, adjacent to the city council.
