Hazem El-Ashmouny, Governor of Sharkia, chaired a meeting of the Supreme Investment Committee in the governorate to review and discuss a number of applications submitted by investors to establish investment projects and change industrial activities. The governor began the meeting by emphasizing that the governorate, with all its apparatuses, is committed to meeting the demands and needs of investors in all fields and working to resolve their problems in order to increase production and support the national economy in accordance with the provisions of the laws, regulations, and instructions governing work in this regard. During the meeting, a number of requests submitted by investors were reviewed, including the establishment and change of investment project activities (refrigerators for preserving meat, vegetables, and fruits, and recycling agricultural waste). The meeting was held to make appropriate decisions for the public good and in accordance with the law. At the end of the meeting, the governor emphasized that one of the state's most important directions during the current period is to focus on investment and create an appropriate climate to encourage investors to take advantage of available investment opportunities to establish their projects and provide real job opportunities for young people to reduce unemployment and raise the standard of living for citizens.
