Major General Khaled Fouda, Advisor of the President of the Republic for Local Development and Engineer Hazem El-Ashmouni, Governor of Al-Sharkia, inspected the expansion of El-Seds Wastewater Treatment station, with a design capacity of 10,000 m3/day. The station built at a cost of EGP 100 million which is considered one of the vital stations being implemented under the Sustainable Rural Wastewater Services Program (SRSSP).

The Governor of Al-Sharkia affirmed that the state pays great attention in implementing the development and service projects, especially the drinking water and sanitation projects, pointing out his continuously monitor the implementation rates of the service and development projects in the various centers and cities of the governorate and to visit the various work sites to overcome any obstacles and develop urgent solutions to any difficulties that may face the implementation works and start the actual service according to the specified timetables.
