Eng. Hazem El-Ashmouni, Governor of Al-Sharkia, delivered financial aid provided by the Homeland Defenders Party in Sharkia to the families of the victims and injured in the collapse of an old building and another balcony on Mawlid Al-Nabi Street in Zagazig, the aid was delivered in coordination with the governorate and the Social Solidarity Directorate, this came during a reception held at his office in the General Diwan.

The event was attended by Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Moaty and Engineer Lobna Abdel-Aziz, Deputy Governors; Dr. Ashraf Saad Soliman, Secretary-General of the Homeland Defenders Party in Sharkia; Mr. Ahmed Hamdi Abdel-Motajally, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Solidarity; Professor Mohamed El-Sadig, Undersecretary of the Social Solidarity Directorate; and Dr. Mohamed Abdeen, a leading imam at Sharkia Endowments Directorate.

The Governor praised the Homeland Defenders Party's initiative, which comes within the framework of activating the service and community role in caring for all segments of society, fostering a spirit of cooperation and solidarity among all segments of society, and alleviating the burden and suffering of citizens. The governor stressed that the governorate, with its executive bodies, spares no effort in providing support and assistance to all families affected by accidents or emergency crises. He offered his condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims, praying to God Almighty to have mercy on them and to grant them a place in His spacious gardens, and wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
