Eng. Hazem El-Ashmouny, Governor of Sharkia, emphasized the important role played by the Agriculture and Supply Directorates in monitoring the wheat harvest and supply process with farmers across the governorate and assisting them in quickly delivering the crop to storage silos. He directed the relevant authorities to remove all obstacles facing farmers to achieve the largest supply volume this year.
For his part, Eng. Abdel Karim Awadallah, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Supply, explained that 90 tons and 975 kilograms of wheat were supplied yesterday, bringing the total supplied to date to 60,1467 tons and 373 kilograms of wheat.
Awadallah added that the quantities of wheat to be transported are weighed, and a weight report (scale card) is issued by a member of the Qabbania Association, the secretary of the granary at the collection point, and a representative of the marketing agency to which the transport will be made. In the presence of the committee members, a transfer gate exit permit is issued for the quantities being transported, specifying the quantities to be transported.
In a related context, Eng. Emad Mohamed Gengen, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, emphasized the need for farmers to commit to supplying wheat to the developed silos and granaries designated for this purpose to prevent loss. He emphasized that the state spares no effort in caring for farmers and providing them with all necessary facilities from the beginning of the harvest until the crop is delivered. |
