Engineer Hazem El-Ashmouni, Governor of ِAl-Sharkia, affirmed that private universities have become a main partner and supporter of the higher education system in Egypt, due to their modern and distinguished academic programs that suit the demands of the local and international labor market.

This occurred during his participation in the meeting of the Board of Trustees of Zagazig Private University, chaired by Professor Dr. Mahmoud Ibrahim Abu El-Ayoun, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and attended by Professor Dr. Mohamed Basem Ali, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Professor Dr. Khaled El-Darandali, President of Zagazig University and a member of the Board of Trustees and other members of the Board. The meeting discussed the Board's agenda, which includes topics related to the educational process and students, and the need to make appropriate decisions for the public interest and produce graduates capable of working, building and contribute in a bright future for the nation.

During the meeting, the Board of Trustees' agenda was reviewed and discussed, including the ratification of the previous session, in addition to some topics which are related to advancing the educational process and administrative work within the university.
