News Date:June 11, 2025
Eng. Hazem El-Ashmouny, Governor of Sharkia, announced the commencement of the second phase of the 26th wave to remove illegal encroachments on agricultural lands and state property within the governorate. This is in implementation of the President's directives to preserve state property, remove encroachments, and enforce the state's authority over its lands. The governor explained that executive agencies, in coordination with security agencies, cut off public utilities to homes illegally constructed on state property. These campaigns resulted in the removal of one encroachment on an area of 350 square meters and four encroachments on an area of one acre and six carats on agricultural land within the governorate. El-Ashmouny indicated that the governorate, with all its agencies, will spare no effort in enforcing the law against encroachers on agricultural land and state property, confronting any attempts at unlicensed random construction, enforcing the state's authority, and taking all legal measures to prevent the recurrence of encroachments after their removal.
