Title:Increase in quantities of local wheat supplied to storage sites

Eng. Hazem El-Ashmouny, Governor of Sharkia, confirmed the regularity of the wheat crop supply process across the governorate. Yesterday, 221 tons and 725 kilograms were supplied to storage sites, bringing the total supplied to date to 592,908 tons and 750 kilograms of wheat. He emphasized the importance of conducting daily and continuous follow-ups on the ground to ensure the regularity of the supply process and achieve the target, in implementation of the directives of the political leadership in this regard. For his part, Eng. Emad Mohamed Gengen, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, indicated that the demonstration fields planted in the various centers and cities of the governorate varied between: - 56 old lands (individual fields) - 7 new lands (individual fields) with an area of ​​​​one acre. - Demonstration fields in fish farms (15 fishponds with an area of ​​​​410 acres). - Salty Lands (Individual Fields) 8 Fields Eng. Abdel Karim Awadallah, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Supply, explained the need to ensure the availability of storage equipment and the conditions and specifications of the barns used to receive and store local wheat, according to the following: -Contain wooden pallets (drums). - Be free of any other agricultural crops. - Contain a truck scale with a capacity no less than the load of a truck (crane or tractor), or two pallet scales, or have an approved truck scale near the barn with an attached printing machine to produce a weight printout. - Provide primary fire protection equipment. - Contain an administrative office within the site fence.
