Title:Al Sharkia Health: As part of "Decent life" initiative, medical examinations were performed on more than 2,000 patients in the medical convoy in Al-Awasga, Hahia

Within the framework of the initiative of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the President of the Republic, “Decent life”, and the plan of the Ministry of Health and Population, and in implementation of the directives of His Excellency Dr. Mamdouh Ghorab, Al Sharkia Governor, and the supervision of Dr. Hisham Shawky Masoud, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, to provide a distinguished medical service to citizens, especially in remote places, The comprehensive medical treatment convoy was carried out in Al-Awasga village, of Hahya in Al Sharkia Governorate, which lasted for two days, and all necessary preventive and precautionary measures were taken and methods of combating infection were followed, and disinfection and sterilization work was emphasized in all clinics in the medical convoy, in order to preserve the health and safety of citizens and medical staff. The convoy included many medical specialties, including “internal medicine, general surgery, cardiology, orthopedics, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, dentistry, dermatology and venereal disease, family planning, otolaryngology.” Laboratory tests and early detection of diabetes and pressure diseases were also conducted. Free medical examinations were given to 2050 patients from the village, and the necessary treatment was paid to them, and 8 cases that needed to be operated on were transferred to the hospitals affiliated with the Directorate. The Undersecretary of the Ministry thanked the coordinator of treatment convoys, all medical teams and all participants in this work to serve patients and citizens in Al Sharkia Governorate.
