Al Sharkia Governor, Prof. Mamdouh Ghorab, directed the heads of centers, cities and neighborhoods to intensify campaigns on cafes, cafeterias, wedding halls, and funeral marquees held in violation in the streets to follow up the implementation of precautionary and preventive measures to confront the spread of the Corona virus in the governorate's scope and to take legal measures against violators, and to stress the lifting of the occupations violating of the street vendors from the main, subsidiary, and public squares in city streets to open the way for traffic and citizens to cross, and to restore the civilized and aesthetic face of the governorate's streets.

Based on the directions of Al Sharkia Governor to abide by the implementation of what was stated by the Minister of Local Development’s decision to strictly regulate opening and closing times for shops, cafes and workshops, Mr. Ubada Muhammad Ubada, head of Faqous center and city, accompanied by the center’s two deputies, launched a campaign in coordination with and officials of the Public Works Department and in cooperation with the police forces.

City streets were passed through the various workshops within the residential block to ensure the implementation of the decision.

Today, during the passing, it is noted the commitment of the citizens of the various workshops owners to the decision for the interest of the homeland and to preserve the health and safety of citizens.
