Prof. Mamdouh Ghorab, Al Sharkia Governor, issued strict instructions to the heads of centers, cities and neighborhoods, in coordination with the Environment Department at the General Bureau, to remove the violating coal mines to reduce the phenomenon of the black cloud and to take all legal measures against violators in order to preserve the environment and the health of citizens.
This is based on the complaints received from the electronic portal of the governmental complaints system affiliated to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, according to citizens have been harmed by the spread of coal mines on Ghetty/ Al-Zwamel Road affiliated to the Presidency of Belbeis Center and City, which may reach 500 cause an increase in fumes that lead to pollution of the environment and impede vision on the road and cause accidents.
In implementation of the instructions of Al Sharkia Governor, the Environmental Affairs Department at the General Bureau, for two days, in coordination with the Environmental Affairs Agency, the Environmental Police, and the head of Belbeis Center and City, launched a massive campaign to implement the removal decisions issued for the violating coal mines in Belbeis Center, whose conditions were not legalized and violated the environmental and health requirements.
Citizens expressed their happiness for these campaigns and the response to their complaints, thanking Governor of Al Sharkia and the concerned authorities.
