Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Ghorab, Governor of Al Sharkia, made a night tour of the village of Al-Nawafa’a in Faqus Center, to determine the level of services provided to citizens in all service and development sectors, in the presence of Eng. Muhammad Al-Safi, Secretary General of the Governorate, and Mr. Muhammad Al-Abasiri, Head of Faqus Center and City. The governor began his tour by inspecting a number of streets to issue directives to the head of the center to continue intensifying cleaning campaigns and bringing in a grader to level the streets and prepare them for the movement of cars and pedestrians, as well as coordinating with the Presidency of the Electricity Sectors to continue carrying out urgent maintenance work on lighting poles and replacing worn out wires with new ones to avoid electrocution incidents and to preserve the souls. The governor conducted a dialogue with the people of the village and reassured them of the level of services provided to them. He listened to all the problems that the citizens were suffering from, as well as identifying their needs, including establishing a civil registry in the village. He directed the head of the center to conduct the necessary study to examine the possibility of establishing a civil registry in order to serve the people of the village and its neighboring villages and provide the best services. During the meeting, the governor reviewed the extent of the achievement achieved on the governorate’s soil in various service and development sectors, noting that what has been accomplished in implementing projects in multiple sectors over the past 10 years exceeded 62 billion pounds to change the form of citizens’ lives for the better. Ghorab indicated that the governorate has completed the necessary preparations to implement the second phase of the presidential initiative, A Decent Life in Belbeis- Faqus- Deirb Nejm- Abu Hammad- Awlad Saqr, extending his thanks to His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, for his interest in the Egyptian village and reaching the depths of the Egyptian countryside and working to improve the services provided to its residents. The governor confirmed the continuation of his surprise tours in various villages, centers and cities of the governorate to determine the level of services provided to citizens, identify their problems and find quick solutions to them in a way that ensures the provision of the best services to them.
