Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Ghorab, Al Sharkia Governor, met with Major General Eng. Wael Mustafa, Head of the Sinai Reconstruction Authority, to discuss and discuss the projects being implemented in the road and bridge sectors and the lining and covering of canals, in the presence of Dr. Ahmed Abdel Moati, Deputy Governor, Eng. Mohamed Al Safi, Secretary General, and Major General Al Saeed Abdel Moati, Advisor to the Governor. For projects, Engineer Rania Abdel Fattah, Vice President of the Central Projects District of the Sinai Reconstruction Authority, Eng. Ahmed Fawzi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Roads and Transport, Eng. Amer Kamal Abu Halawa, Head of the Drinking Water and Wastewater Company, and Eng. Tariq Al-Labban, Head of the Central Administration for Water Resources and Irrigation. The governor praised the efforts of Sinai Reconstruction Authority in improving the infrastructure and good implementation of paving and covering projects in cooperation with the heads of the centers, cities and concerned service directorates, stressing that Al-Sharkia Governorate is witnessing a real boom in the paving sector in line with the development and beautification plan witnessed by the cities of the governorate. During the meeting, the implementation status of a number of projects being implemented was discussed in order to develop urgent solutions to any difficulties facing the implementation work and delivery of the projects and their entry into actual service on the specified date to benefit the citizens, including the work of covering the Awlad Attia Canal on the western mainland of Bahr Mois within the scope of Hahia Center, for the governor to direct quickly coordinate with the Research Center at the Faculty of Engineering at Zagazig University to find the necessary engineering solutions for the coverage work and complete the governorate’s plan to raise the efficiency of infrastructure and provide development and service projects that benefit the citizens. The governor also directed the head of the drinking water and sanitation company to quickly complete the connection of the drinking water line to Al-Qudah Road in the Kafr Saqr center, in order to immediately begin paving work, raise efficiency, and open the road to the movement of cars and pedestrians. For his part, the head of the Sinai Reconstruction Authority explained that there is coordination between the governorate agency and the concerned authorities to overcome any obstacles during the implementation of the projects in order to quickly complete them and enter actual service on the specified date to benefit the citizens. On the sidelines of the meeting, Al-Sharkia Governor and the head of the Sinai Reconstruction Authority signed a cooperation protocol that includes facilitating some procedures and executive steps in coordination with the concerned authorities in order to complete the projects being implemented by the agency in various centers and cities and speed up their completion according to the specified time frames to benefit the people of the governorate.
