Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Ghorab, Al Sharkia Governor, led a massive campaign to lift occupancy and remove street vendors in Abu Kabir and Hehia, in order to open the way for the movement of cars and the transit of citizens, and to restore the aesthetic and cultural appearance of the city’s streets. The governor stressed to take all legal measures against shop owners who trespass on the right of way and remove all forms of encroachments and violations that impede the movement of pedestrians, stressing the continuation of campaigns to remove occupancies and encroachments on the right of way, to restore discipline to the street and apply the law forcefully and firmly on violators. The governor explained that the governorate is serious about completing the development and beautification plan, creating new traffic axes, and eliminating random markets, which disrupt traffic and transferring it to the urban markets established in the city. The governor had issued instructions to the heads of centers, cities and neighborhoods to be constantly present on the streets, especially on occasions and holidays, and to interact with citizens’ problems and find quick solutions to them, stressing that the governorate, with all its executive bodies, is making every effort to improve the services provided to citizens in all areas that the citizen needs. The governor was keen to meet the citizens and listen to them, and he held a calm dialogue with them. The governor emphasized the strength of the relationship between the citizens and the executive leadership.
