Within the framework of the initiative of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, "Decent Life,", and in implementation of the directives of Prof. Hala Zayed, Minister of Health and Population, and under the supervision of Dr. Hisham Shawqi Masoud, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Al Sharkia, the comprehensive treatment convoy was carried out in Al-Dahtamoun, of Abu Kabir, lasting for two days, and all necessary preventive and precautionary measures were taken to eliminate the infection, and to emphasize the cleansing work and sterilization of all clinics with the medical convoy, in order to preserve the health and safety of citizens and medical teams.

The convoy included in many medical specialties,: "Internal, General, , Orthopedics, Paediatric, Obstetrics, Gynecology, Dental, Dermatology and Venereology, Family Planning, Ophthalmology, Nose and Ear". Examinations, practices, and early detection of diabetes and pressure diseases were also performed.

1,473 free medical examinations of patients from the village, treatment was distributed to them, the referral of January 14, the start of treatment for tumors and methods of self-examination of the breast, the importance of vaccination against polio, the health of the mother and the fetus, and others.

The Undersecretary of the Ministry thanked the coordinator of the medical convoys, and all the participation in this work to serve the patients and the citizens of Al Sharkia Governorate.
