Eng.Ismail Sharif, Prime Minister, accompanied by Minister of Housing, Local Development, Trade and Industry and Governor of Al Sharkia and Governor of Cairo Opened today new drinking water purification station in 10th  of Ramadan City.

During the visit, Prime Minister listened to the explanation of the Minister of Housing for the station, where he pointed to the start of the arrival of water to the station, in preparation for the operation of the first part of the first phase experimentally.

The minister added that the first part of the first phase is working with a capacity of 300 thousand m3 / day, and is expected to reach the production up to 600 thousand m3 / day and by cost of 2.5 billion pounds.

The Minister of Housing referred that this project is one of the major and important national projects, serving the residential and industrial areas in the cities of the 10th of Ramadan, Al- Shouroq, Badr, the cities, the area of north of Suez Gulf, and the construction of new administrative capital by total production capacity of 1.2 million m per day.

Today meeting was held and  chaired by Major-General Khaled Said, the governor of Al Sharkia,  with the head of executive body of the National Authority for drinking water and sanitation, Chairman of the Board of sanitation and drinking water company and general manager of planning. The governor confirmed that we all work in one system for the benefit of the governorate and work to resolve the problems and obstacles in front of the implementation of sanitation and drinking water projects where they reviewed all drinking water projects at the level of centers and cities of the governorate, especially being implemented to work in order to solve the drinking water problems in some sites.

Eng. Mohsen Husseini, head of the executive body of the National Authority for Potable Water and Sanitation also confirmed that there are some ongoing drinking water projects will be completed before June 30 2016 to increase the quantity produced from clean drinking water.

Governor of AlSharkia delegated the general secretary of governorate to attend the celebration of the International Day for the disabled that was held by the Directorate of Education in Zagazig.

The ceremony was attended by First Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education. It has been organized on occasion of the International Day for the participation of disabled students in special education schools in the governorate.

Students with special needs presented many artistic and sports clauses that showed the efficiency of the students interacting with their teachers and won the admiration of all. It has been the opening of the exhibition of special education, which includes technical products, embroidery work, some paintings and food products.

Dr. Redda Abdulsalam, the governor of Al Sharkia announced that it was agreed with the President of the Academy of Scientific Research, Dr. Mahmoud Saqr to provide the necessary funding to support the creators and innovators, pointing out that the academy will select the best models for the possibility of beneficial products to the Egyptian society.

This came during a tribute  of Ideas Bank, inventors and creators Association ceremony at the level of the Republic in Al Sharkia under the auspices of the governor and the presence of Dr. Mahmoud Saqr President of the Academy of Scientific Research and Chancellor Tahani al gibaly- former Vice President of the Supreme Constitutional Court and inventors and their families at the level of the Republic in Zagazig culture palace. The governor asked to sign protocol between the Academy and the Arab Organization for Industrialization and the Association of Ideas Bank to accommodate those creators and highlight the models offering new ideas.

While Dr. Mahmoud Saqr stressed that the state attaches great attention to support innovation, pointing out that innovation is no longer in the universities and the Academy of Scientific Research, but become societal innovation needs to be a partnership, and added that scientific research partnership between the state and civil society institutions and various governorates.

For its part, Chancellor Tahani Algabali was pleased to be in this grand celebration to honor the creators and innovators .

Dr. Redda Abdulsalam, the governor of Al Sharkia stressed that the dentist are the more disciplined doctors and that's what is touched while following up the health sector performance in Al Sharkia. This came during the opening of the scientific fifteenth dental conference in Al Sharkia and the second Eastern Delta region that is organized by the Dental syndicate  in Al Sharkia Sports Club in the presence of Dr Khairi Mursi Professor of mouth, face and jaws surgery at Cairo University, Dr. Sherif McCain, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health and Dr. Yasser Algendy, General Undersecretary of Dentists Union.

The governor called the conference participants to find out practical recommendations to change the reality of the health sector within the health system in Al Sharkia, pointing out that the dental problems are very serious and often neglected in the rural community.
Governor of Al Sharkia emphasized his commitment to his presence and sponsoring all medical conferences organized in Al Sharkia in order to have the perceptions and proposals are beneficial to dental patients.

For his part, Dr Khairi Mursi professor of mouth , face and jaws surgery at Cairo University and President of the Conference emphasized that the aim of the scientific and medical conferences is to enrich the field of Medicine and Dentistry of all that is new scientific research and new technologies to help in the development of academic work and research, as well as exchange of experience to maximize the interest.
